The Prim-Ettes gave superb support, as did the seven-piece backing band, which included three young ladies who last visited Boston as part of the Roy Wood Orchestra.

All in all it was yet another entertaining show, perhaps slightly different to some which have appeared but certainly well received by the audience.

It was an entertaining introduction for the main part of the show featuring Roy Hemmings and the music for which his voice is ideally suited.

Roy slowed things down with Sister and Brother (to be featured on his new CD), then livened it up again with Sweet Soul Music and more before ending with Love Train.
